Hostess

Kokoko restaurant is a new notion on Russian cuisine.

We create an outstanding menu, based on seasonal products from farmers from all over the region. In our dishes familiar tastes and the latest culinary achievements are represented in unordinary textures, forms and combinations. In summer and during the fall we are rich in what may be harvested in our region, in this period we add to the menu dishes with vegetables, berries, mushrooms, fresh greens. For winter we dry, marinate, preserve products and until spring become even closer to the traditions of Russian cuisine. 

Kokoko restaurant is looking for the candidate for the hostess-position.

Responsibilities:

• seat guests promptly at a table pre-set for the number in the party and according to guest preference;

• set up host/hostess stand, review guest reservation book, and make recommendations as to the set-up of the room;

• answer phones and e- mails and take guest reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant;

• anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, and recognize regular guests by name;

• complete special projects (menu changes, signage, etc) as instructed;

• ensure proper table set-up and make minor adjustments as needed.

Requirements:

• six to twelve months of restaurant / hotel experience is required;

• fluent English is a must;

• must have excellent communication skills
